The weather effects in this part of Aberdeenshire never stop inspiring me. It’s fairly usual to find me up pretty early and this is one of the reasons why. With the Sun casting a warm orange light over the cold fog shrouded landscape, it was hard to resist trying to capture.
These old abandoned but-and-bens are scattered all over Scotland and I have always been fascinated by them. This one is my nearest neighbour.
